Convert Excel to PDF in Your Browser, Including Offline Use
Convert supported XLSX and CSV files locally in your browser. Offline use may work after the app and required resources have been cached; review sheet selection, scaling, and page breaks before export.
Can I convert Excel files to PDF in my browser without uploading them?
For supported XLSX and CSV files, FlamePDF processes workbook contents in your browser and does not upload them to a FlamePDF conversion server for that operation. Offline conversion may work after the app and required resources have been cached in that browser.
Convert a workbook to PDF
Open the Excel to PDF converter, select an XLSX or CSV file, choose the sheets or ranges available in the preview, and adjust page size, orientation, margins, scaling, or gridlines. Review page breaks and readability before exporting a separate PDF.
Understand offline availability
The first visit and any uncached app resources require a network connection. After the service worker has installed and cached the relevant pages and assets, a supported conversion may work offline in that browser. Browser storage can be cleared or evicted, and resources never downloaded will not be available offline.
Check the exported file
The source workbook is not overwritten. Complex formulas, fonts, charts, and page layouts can differ from Excel, so inspect the exported PDF before relying on it.
